Quick & Easy Tuna Salad Recipe With a Kick

Tuna Salad Recipe

Serves 2

 

Ingredients:

 

4 cups of your favorite lettuce, chopped or torn into bite size pieces

2 five or six ounce cans of tuna

2 stalks celery, diced

4 tablespoon mayo (I used avocado oil mayo)

2 teaspoons dijon mustard

1 teaspoon wasabi powder (I used Eden brand), could also use wasabi paste

1/2 teaspoon ginger powder

optional garnishes- 2 thinly sliced radishes and cilantro leaves

 

Instructions:

 

In a tiny dish, mix wasabi powder with a small amount of hot water and let sit for 5 minutes. Use just enough water to turn the powder into a paste and not be runny.

 

In a medium size bowl, combine mayo, mustard and wasabi. Mix well.

 

Add tuna and celery to bowl and mix to combine.

 

Divide lettuce between 2 plates. Place tuna salad on top and garnish if desired. Enjoy!
